The marsupial was transferred to 'more spacious accommodation' after being discovered by a shocked toilet cleaner at a public park

A park cleaner was shocked to discover a possum living in a toilet roll dispenser.
The marsupial appeared to have set up home inside the dispenser at Yarra Bend Park in Melbourne, Australia.
It was found sitting behind two rolls of toilet paper - one of which it seemed to have torn up.
Fortunately, the possum was found by a cleaner - not a member of the public using the toilet.
The stunned worker made the bizarre discovery after taking off the door of the dispenser during their shift.

They subsequently alerted park rangers to the possum's unusual home and the creature was 'evicted'.
It was later transferred to 'more spacious accommodation', according to Parks Victoria's Facebook page.

A photo on the page shows the animal's new home to be a large rectangular box attached to a tree.
It is not the first time an unwelcome guest has been discovered in a toilet facility.
Last October, a giant rat was caught trying to climb into a hotel room in America through a toilet.

In stomach-churning scenes, the rodent got stuck while making its way through the pipes.
It was discovered by a horrified guest who had investigated after hearing a strange scratching sound.
