Red Power Ranger charged with murder of roommate 'with Samurai sword'

Ricardo Medina Jr, who played the red ranger on Power Rangers Wild Force, has been charged with one count of murder for the fatal stabbing of Josh Sutter last January.
The 36-year-old was arrested over the stabbing on January 31, 2015, but claimed it was self-defence and was later released.
However, the actor was re-arrested yesterday and has been charged with murder.
Medina allegedly stabbed Sutter at their California home with a Samurai sword in the abdomen.

According to TMZ, the family of the deceased believe that Medina's "self-defence" claim is false as Josh allegedly had defensive wounds on his hands.
It is believed that the fight started over an argument about Medina's girlfriend.
Ricardo faces a minimum of 26 years in prison if convicted of the crime.
The Californian's attorney told TMZ: "As far as i know, nothing has changed since a year ago when Rickey was first arrested. From the evidence I am aware of, he is as innocent now as he was then.
