An unnamed doctor and a nurse at Survival Hospital, Igbogene, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, have been quizzed by the police.
The doctor and the nurse were arrested for their alleged involvement in an arrangement to sell a new-born baby in the hospital.
The baby in question was given birth to by one Nnena Florence at the Survival Hospital.
It was learnt that Florence (baby’s mother) had allegedly arranged with the doctor and the nurse prior to the delivery to sell the baby to an unnamed woman now on the run for N200, 000.
