A woman who was allegedly made to walk naked through the streets of New York after claims her boyfriend caught her messaging other men has spoken about her ordeal.
Jason
Melo, 24, allegedly choked and punched the 22-year-old woman, in front
of their two-month-old daughter before making her strip off all her
clothing and walk around their block.
She also claims Melo told her that if she did not do as he asked he would throw her down the stairs and slash her face.

Shocking footage shows the woman in a towel before the man eventually pulls it away, exposing her body to everyone on the street.
She
desperately tries to preserve her dignity, at one point attempting to
dress herself with the canvas cover draped over a nearby motorbike.
In the video, the man can be heard saying: "Stop and take the towel off. We need to see your shame."

He adds: "A pretty girl like you [...] with seven men. You will pay the price."

Yesterday
Melo appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday charged with
assault in the third degree, menacing in the second degree, and
endangering the welfare of a child.

Speaking of her ordeal, the young woman, who cannot be named
for legal reasons, said she is now hiding in their apartment with her
newborn daughter afraid to go out.
She told Univision
: "I was so scared of him, I didn't know what to do, I couldn't even
think. He started threatening me, he threatened to slash my face."
Melo,
who lives in Harlem but is believed to be from the Dominican Republic,
describes himself alternately as a 'entrepreneur' and a 'comedian' on
social media.

At the top of his Instagram page, Melo writes: 'How Good It Feel Knowing That I Will Be Millionaire And Successful Forever.'
In a series of Instagram videos, posted yesterday, he apologised to his girlfriend and said he regretted what he had done.
He
said: "Please forgive me, I want you all to know that I am not as bad
as you think. I just want to tell you all that I feel bad, as a man. You
don't know what was going through my mind."
