Olulade, the representative of Epe Constituency 2 at the House, said the occupants of the landed property earmarked for Primary Health Centre in Ejigbo Area of Lagos state, Nigeria are to vacate the area as they had occupied the place illegally over the years.
The Local Council Development Area, LCDA, in charge of the land had earlier verbally warned the occupants to vacate the place after which a seven-day ultimatum to quit was issued. Olulade said.
The lawmaker however appealed to the LCDA to extend the seven-day ultimatum to one month after which the trespassers would face forceful ejection where they fail to obey.
Olulade said he was preoccupied with ensuring that the health sector is revamped in line with the strategies and innovations put in the sector by the state governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode.
“The governor, Mr. Ambode, is putting everything in place to move the health sector to the next level and this plan must not be sabotaged,” he said adding that the land has a sign a post with “Proposed Site for the Construction of Primary Healthcare Centre (Ilamose Ward)” inscribed on it.
