High-speed motorbikes have crash on track

Two off-road motorcyclists saw their race come to an abrupt end after colliding with one another on a hump in a dirt track.

The two riders, one in green and the other in orange and blue, seem to misjudge how close they were to one another as they rode over the rutted track.

The pursuing rider appears to come a little to close to the leader, and as a result collides with his opponents rear wheel, sending them both crashing to the ground.

With snow and ice lining the track, it's likely that the ground was cold and compact, making for an uncomfortable landing.

A marshall immediately steps out onto the track waving a yellow flag, to warn approaching riders of the accident, as the fallen riders make their way back onto their bikes and restart the race.
