Facebook thinks I'm a terrorist. Apparently sending them a screenshot of my passport is not good enough for them to reopen my account.

Facebook has apologised for suspending the account of a woman named Isis.
And we think you’ll agree it’s about time. For some reason, Facebook refused to believe that Isis Anchalee was an engineer from San Francisco and not a global terrorist organisation.
Three times they disabled her account before she finally had it verified it by sending the company a scan of her passport.

Ms Anchalee’s experience is not unique. Not by a long way, in fact.
For instance, in March, a man said that a tattoo of his ex-girlfriend’s name, Isis, got him the sack.
Then, in September, a shop owner in Worcester was forced to deny links to the terrorist group. And in November, Nutella refused to print a personalised jar for a girl named Isis.
Perhaps it’s worth noting that not everything named Isis – a name which dates back at least to Ancient Egypt – is affiliated with a Salafi jihadist militant group rampaging through the Middle East.
